Seasonal Apple Picking Schedules
At Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm, the fall season schedule begins on September 6th and runs through October 27th. Our apple picking schedule in September runs from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in addition to Columbus Day on Monday, October 14th. In October Friday hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Apple Picking Pricing
Our apple picking is priced per bag, which will be provided to guests as no outside bags are permitted at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm. Here is an overview of our apple picking prices:
- 1/4 peck bag =$7.50
- 1/2 peck bag = $13.00
- Full peck bag = $22.00
- 1/2 bushel = $36.00

Our Fall Harvest Season Park & Pick Experience
In addition to our apple picking in NJ, we are proud to offer a Fall Harvest Season Park & Pick Experience to cover all of the activities you and your whole family are looking for during the fall season in the Garden State. This experience is also perfect for school field trips.
With our Park & Pick option, guests can visit every stop on our farm drive to go apple picking, pumpkin picking, and even sunflower picking. Plus, families can adventure through our corn maze and sunflower fields and take a scenic hayride around our property. And, of course, you can make a quick stop in our farm store for delicious, freshly baked fall treats, including seasonal pies, cookies, and apple cider donuts.
The fall Park & Pick in September runs from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays, & 9 a.m to 3:45 p.m. Saturdays, and Sundays. In October Fridays Park & Pick is available 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. & 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturdays, and Sundays. This fun fall harvest season experience on Weekends costs $16.00 (+fees) & on Fridays (and Columbus Day) are 1/2 price ($8 +fees). It’s advised to reserve your tickets in advance to avoid missing out on all the fall fun and for reduced pricing.
*Children under the age of 2 are FREE & do not need tickets. All tickets incur a service fee. Increased Pricing if purchased at Check in on the farm.
