Our Response

Johnson's Locust Hall Farm

We sincerely hope this message finds you and yours safe, and in good health! If you’re reading this, you’re may be planning a day to our farm. We want to keep you in the loop about some new health and wellness measures now in place. Some are government-mandated, others voluntary—but all are vital toward flattening that covid-19 curve, while still taking time enjoy the farm!
Some small sacrifices are inevitable these days, but health and safety are paramount, so we’re hoping for your kind cooperation and understanding. As our guest on the farm whether your attending a fall harvest park n pick or a wedding, here’s a general list-up of some of the things to expect….

  • Our Fall Park n Pick Reservations have been implemented to manage the number of customers out in the field and help maintain social distancing guidelines.
-Hayrides will not be running out to the fields.
  • Handwashing stations are available around the farm & sanitation wipes out in the fields.
  • Employees are screened prior to each scheduled shift.
  • All employees are required to wear a facial covering at all times and gloves when handling food.
  • Guests are required to wear a facial covering to enter our picking fields, Farm Market, Restrooms, & inside any of our venue barn facilities (this does not apply to children under the age of 2 or guests that cannot wear facial coverings due to medical reasons.
  • High traffic areas and surfaces are frequently sanitized and logged
  • Remember: My mask protects you, your mask protects me, our masks protect us all.
  • PHYSICAL DISTANCING – We call it “physical” distancing (not “social” distancing) because you can still be plenty social even if you’re a few more feet away than usual. A positive spin on it, so to speak.
  • CLEAN HANDS – Hand sanitizer will be available near every food and beverage station, as well as at entrances, in restrooms, etc. Helpful signage positioned appropriately will remind everyone about keeping clean hands.
  • REMINDERS – Signage regarding masks and physical distancing will be posted around the venue, just to remind everyone of what’s required
  • Johnson’s staff may offer a quiet word or two to those forgetful about wearing masks and physical distancing.

So that’s what’s up, at least for the moment. All of this is subject to change as circumstances develop. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the farm!
